Welcome to the Hopyratian Language

Hi, my name is David Tait and I created and constructed the Hopyratian Language. I'm 15 years old and I became interested in language when I was 11. I began to construct the Hopyratian language in 2009 and I have built upon it throughout the years and I have been learning more and more about language. The Hopyratian language is my first attempt at creating a conlang and I hope it will develop further and further.

The Hopyratian Language is a fictional language, based around the mythical land of Sepistania which I also created. There are two types: Classic Hopyratian once spoken by men, and that which is spoken by the people of the Holic Wood. This website will focus on both, but mainly the Holic Wood.

Please be aware that the Hopyratian Dictionary and the Hopyratian Translator are not complete and I am continuing to add to them to make them better. If you have any comments for improvements or anything you want me to add, email me.

If you wish to add any words for Hopyratian please contact me with the word you wish to add and its English meaning. If you do wish to contribute a word, please follow the grammatical rules by showing all nouns fully declined and all verbs fully conjugated.
