Animate Nouns
Hopyratian works on a Animate and Inanimate gender system and uses four grammatical cases. Here are the endings for the Animate:
Nominative
-katýcarem ending honsa banxa |
Accusative
-n honsan banxan |
Dative
-t honsat banxat |
Genitive
-nyā honsanyā banxanyā |
All Animate nouns end in a vowel and are to do with things that are alive.
Examples:
Mother - Nadaxa
King - Herkenu
Language - Lingosia (they considered any sounds like music to be Animate)
Animate Plurals
To make something plural add "em" unless the Animate Nominative and the Genitive case where "mý" is used:
Nominative
-mý honsamý banxamý |
Accusative
-nem honsanem banxanem |
Dative
-tem honsatem banxatem |
Genitive
-nyāmý honsanyāmý banxanyāmý |
